A Word About... |
Hello. My name is Brit Messer, CEO at McCurtain Memorial Hospital and I want to say a few
words about your health and your healthcare.
The average person in McCurtain County is overweight, does not exercise and does not eat
enough fresh fruits and vegetables... and lives up to five years less than other Oklahomans. Why
is this true? What's different about McCurtain County?
The data that we have gathered over the last several months through phone interviews, surveys
and research indicates that we need a major overhaul of our healthcare delivery system in
McCurtain County. What we are doing is not working.
I want you to be part of this change process. I value your opinion and input. The final
presentation of our Population Healthcare Management Plan will be presented to the public
soon. I will let you know when and want to invite all of you to attend and let me know what you
think. I am convinced that working together we can make a difference.
