Physical Therapy at McCurtain Memorial Hospital involves a thorough rehabilitation program for our patients under the direction of a physical therapist with emphasis on restoration of range of motion, strength and endurance, education and prevention. Our goal is to assist and educate our patients on how to maximize health, function and independence thus improving quality of life.
Our physical Therapy Department also provides specialized care and treatment in the areas of orthopedics, post-operative care, total joint replacement, balance rehabilitation and work related injuries.
Physical Therapy helps people of all ages return to normal function after an injury, surgery, or disease. We use the latest rehabilitation techniques to prevent injury from occurring or to slow the progression of conditions resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
After a thorough evaluation is completed, an individualized comprehensive treatment program is designed for each patient.
